◆ EXTRACT PDF PAGES

Extract PDF Pages into a New Document

Nobody needs the whole sixty page report to see the two pages that concern them. Pick the pages you want and download them as a clean new PDF.

What the tool does

Keep the Pages That Matter

Extracting is the polite version of sending a document: the recipient gets exactly what is relevant and nothing they have to scroll past.

Visual Page Picking

Thumbnails of every page mean you select by looking, not by remembering page numbers.

Range Syntax

Type something like 1,3,5-10 and apply it in one action instead of clicking twenty pages.

Invert the Selection

Select the pages you do not want, then invert, when that is the quicker way round.

A Real New PDF

The result is a fresh document containing only your chosen pages, in their original order.

Local Processing

Your PDF is read and rebuilt inside the browser and is not uploaded to Bubixo.

No Setup

No account, no installation, no watermark added to the extracted file.

How it works

From a Long Document to the Pages You Need

Four steps, and the selection is always visible before you commit to it.

1

Upload the PDF

Drop the document onto the page and let the previews render.

2

Select Pages

Click the thumbnails you want, or apply a range such as 4-9.

3

Check the Count

The tool shows how many pages are selected so you can confirm before extracting.

4

Extract and Download

Create the new PDF and save it to your device.

Supported files

What Goes In and What Comes Out

A PDF in, a smaller PDF out, with the original untouched.

PDF

Source Document

Any PDF you can open, from a two page letter to a long report.

1,3,5

Page Ranges

Individual pages, comma separated lists and hyphenated ranges in one expression.

NEW

Extracted PDF

A new file containing only the selected pages, in the order they appeared.

Your original document is not modified. Extracting produces a separate file, so you can run the tool several times to create different selections from the same source.

Use cases

When Only Part of the File Is Relevant

Sending less is usually more useful than sending everything.

Application Forms

Send only the pages an office asked for instead of the complete booklet.

Report Excerpts

Share the two pages with the figures your colleague needs to review.

Invoices and Receipts

Pull a single invoice out of a monthly statement PDF.

Study Material

Keep the chapter you are working through rather than the entire book scan.

Privacy and responsible use

Extraction Happens on Your Own Device

Sending fewer pages is itself a privacy measure, and the extraction that gets you there does not need a server.

  • The PDF is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to the Bubixo server.
  • Nothing is stored, so no copy of your document exists anywhere afterwards.
  • Extracting pages is a good way to avoid sharing personal data that a recipient does not need.
  • Check the extracted file before sending it: page numbering in the new document starts again at one.
  • Only extract from documents you are authorised to handle or share.

⚠ Good to know

What Extraction Does Not Change

The extracted pages are copied as they are. Headers, footers, page numbers printed into the layout and cross references to other pages all remain, and may no longer match the new, shorter document. That is a property of the source file, not something the tool can rewrite.

Content that a page relies on from elsewhere in the document, such as a footnote continued on the next page or a table split across two pages, needs both pages selected. Check your selection covers the whole thought, not just where it starts.

Frequently asked questions

Extract PDF Pages FAQ

How do I select many pages quickly?

Type a range such as 1,3,5-10 and apply it, or press select all and then invert to drop the pages you do not want.

Does the original PDF change?

No. Extraction creates a new file and leaves your source document exactly as it was.

Is my document uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser, so the PDF stays on your device.

Are the extracted pages in the original order?

Yes. The new PDF keeps the pages in the order they appeared in the source file.

Can I extract pages from a password-protected PDF?

Remove the protection first with the Bubixo Unlock PDF tool, which requires the correct password.

Is there a page limit?

There is no fixed limit, but very large documents depend on your device's memory to render all previews.
