Changing the container does not repair a damaged recording, improve a blurry image or add detail that was never captured. Re-encoding can also cost a little quality, so keep the original file until you are happy with the result.
The upload limit is 500 MB and there is no queue for very long files: a feature-length video is out of scope for this tool. GIF output has no sound and grows quickly in size, so it suits short excerpts rather than whole clips.
